I love discussing written works of various kinds and using my eye for detail to help polish pieces of all kinds. Here are the main editing projects I have completed.
Central and Southern Indiana Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Anthology - 2023
Copyeditor - February 2023
I coordinated with the Hoosier Writing Project to compile the Golden Key winning pieces from regional middle- and high school students. I voted on which art pieces to include, helped copyedit the issue, and communicated with the printers to get this anthology produced.
genesis: literary & art magazine of IUPUI - Spring 2022 Issue
Senior Editor - April 2022
I contributed to discussion about pieces every week, considering the use of craft elements in writing and art submissions. I also designed and posted graphics on social media to promote the magazine and its events.

Copyeditor - February 2022
I assisted with choosing art pieces to include in this issue based on which ones had striking concepts and thoughtful execution. I helped copyedit this anthology, carefully looking through text pieces to ensure errors were fixed while maintaining the voice and intent of each author.

In my first semester on the staff of genesis, I reviewed student submissions of art and writing each week. I attended regular meetings where the staff shared our thoughts and discussed how pieces would fit into our magazine.
